Question Carbon remover to reduce piston slap? Anybody done this?

Alright, I don't like that my 2000 SS makes more noise on start up than my 94 with 153k miles on it did. In another post someone suggested that I try putting carbon cleaner in each spark plug hole and letting it sit over night. Has anyone doen this (Doesn't have to be on a LS1 or any chevy for that matter) Is this the same thing as pulling your air induction pieces off and spraying (With a spray bottle !!) water into the intake manifold? What would be causing the carbon to build up anyway? Does the LS1 accumulate more carbon than other engines??

Pistoin slap is due to excessive piston to cylinder clearance & the piston is rocking in the bore .... common on the LS1s, partially because they were fitted very loose at the factory (short break in & low friction).

Any form of carbon cleaner will not do a thing for this.

If, the problem were built up carbon and the resulting detonation, then yes... some of these methods may be usefull.
