Re: Best Cold Air Intake for Z28's

I even managed to squeeze an aux. tranny cooler (19,000 I believe) on the lower passenger side of the front of the radiator-a/c unit. It's not exactly what I would call a perfect fit, but it's damn near close enough. I'm just glad I went with the 19K and not the 24K cooler.

they make a foam block off plate for the ssra to keep water out.

installed my ssra on friday, went to the track saturday. englishtown nj has a reputation of being a poor grip track. 2 mods done since last track visit. 3.73's and ssra. i gained .9 from 13.1 to 12.2

Does the foam block off plate come with it or does it come separate. If so where can you get one from.

it doesnt come with it. i seen it listed before, i think on lmperformance.com, try them anyway. i dont have it. i only drive the car in the rain if i have to. last week my blazer broke down and it poured here so i had to. other than that i only put on 1500 miles a year on it.

I've got the K&N FIPK kit and I love it! Much better than any lid.
