3.73 or LT headers and WARRANTY?
Will these void my powertrain warranty???
1) SLP 3.73 rearend gears
2) Jet-Hot emissions legal LT headers w/Y pipe & integrated cats
Also, will I notice a nice difference over stock with these?? I have the factory installed SLP exhaust.

You might lose some low end torque, but what you will gain the high end will make it well worth it!
As for warranty.. it is simple.. if you put LTs on then you go in and say your O2 sensor went out.. they will probably say sorry its no longer covered. But if you put on LTs then your sunvisor falls off, they have to fix the sunvisor. They can not void your warranty for any repair unless they can show that the aftermarket part they are questioning actually CAUSED the problem you want fixed.
Hope that helps.

Adding gears voids your rear end warranty. My dealer I deal with is pretty nice about mods and never have given me a problem. But for sure the gears will void your rear end warranty. It doesn't matter if it's GM gears installed by a GM dealer or SLP gears ot aftermarket. All I wanted to do was but some GM 3:42 gears in mine and warranty would be voided. I would get the normal 12 month 12,000 mile dealer warranty and thats it. With headers it gets more difficult and even they said at the dealer that headers voiding the warranty is common. They could use a lot of reasons why something could have happened to engine due to headers. My dealer kinda frowns on headers, not saying some things wouldn't be covered but anything that could possibly be related to going out due to headers would void the warranty. With having a 02, I am not going to risk that for the h.p at this time. I have 2:73's and gears are what I need. But I also don't need big bills everytime I blow my rearend which it will happen if you like to rocket off the line or run the 1/4 alot. Just my 2 cents
