Wipers do not work correctly

The car in which I'm having a problem with is my 2001 carmaro ss that has a little over 15500 miles. I took it out today for the 4th time this year and noticed the wipers would not always come on, and when they did they would randomly stop working and park themselves in many different locations. The only way to get them to come on again was to turn the switch off and then turn it back on again. Sometimes the only way to get them moving again was with the washer function.

The wipers work 100% of the time when I use the washer function. They make 4 sweeps and then park with no problems.

I looked under the hood but did not see the wiper motor. I know it's there but where and how do you access it.

Thanks
Gary

Unhappy Re: Wipers do not work correctly

You probably have a defective wiper circuit board, which is located somewhere under the dashboard.
