Question windows...

OK so i have replaced my driver side window motor about 3 times now in the last 6 months... to come to find out its not the motor... motors all work fine when tested but window rolls down about 3 Inches and then wont go up or come down any ideas on how to fix it? im sick of ripping this bad boy apart every time it goes down....

Have you checked the condition/movement of the regulator?

regulator? im not quite sure what your talking about im more of a motor person i think it has something to do with the power going to the motor itself... but im not sure if you could tell me where the regulator is or what it is.... that would be a great help so i can get dirty with it.... :-P

The regulator is the mechanical mechanism that moves the window up and down. It could be stiff or binding. Spray lithium grease can be used for lubrication.
