Window Motor???

Ok, i know that ls1 window motors aernt that great and they are commonly replaced, on my car when i go to open the window it will go and then stop, then i have to wait a minute or two go and it will stop, it keeps getting worse and worse. I bought a new window switched because that seemed to me like it would be the most logical thing but it still does it. has anyone ever had this problem? could it be the window motor or just a loose wire somewhere?

Re: Window Motor???

My '98 firebird did the exact same thing, it took about 2 months before it died completely and wouldn't move at all. It's definitely the motor going. Time to replace it

yep its your window motor failing , i did the same thing changes out the switch thinking it wasnt get juice , but it was the motor , they tent to go own and up real slow and like you mentioneted before they just give up , i think its due to the heavy big window and bad designed regulators
