wierd AC problem?

wierd AC problem?
i dont know if its just bc its HOT now.. and NEVER noticed in last 7 yrs lol BUT when i get on it... the AC from the top vents(i always have it set for top/legs setting) the top goes almost off till i let off the gas... wierd... its a 98v6, i dont think my z28 did it, after i wrecked my z, i starting driving this one again.... sooo not sure if normal.. and if not.. what can it be? a belt slipping? i have no idea.. i have no squeels (from a belt) wierd....
