Where does a convertible cd changer mount?

Hello,

I have a 2000 Firebird Convertible. I just bought a factory original cd changer to add to the trunk. I know the wiring harness is located right by the top motor.

How does the cd changer get mounted to the car? I have no go bys and would probably have to make my own mounts to match the factory....

So can anyone with a convertible provide pictures of the mounted cd changer?

Sorry no picts. But your right it mounts on the right(drivers) side shelf in the trunk. The sliding door/CD pack should face inboard. It's just held in with a couple of "L" brackets and sheet metal screws. Very simple, nothing fancy.
