what would happen if i block the AC vents outside
#4
agreed, this is the "max a/c" setting on our cars, in theory, when on that setting, it shouldn't pull from the outside vent at all, thus solving your problem. Defrost (which is needed) MAY blend with outside air, which is where you would run into trouble if you completely defeat your cowl vents. There is no recirc for heat or defrost.

Hopefully, with no outside fresh air, you won't have downed a couple bean burritos the night before.......
Why not just rig up a fine mesh screen directly under the vent slots?

thanks all, good ideas. defrost would be a problem. For AC i just use max or nothing and the windows for more air.. Fine mesh and a possible retrofit cabin air filter would be great!
looks difficult... i found this Add Cabin Air Filter to 4th Gen for less than $20 - Dodge Ram Forum - Ram Forums and Owners Club! - Dodge Truck Forum
i'll check the tech manuals, i've got 1 and 2 for the 94 camaro. Dave or y'all have you ever seen a cabin air filter retrofit in a 4th gen? you could sell that, i'd be the first customer

So, the vent system needs access to outside air, if you are actually going to vent anything.
