94z pegged it a couple times. 140 with T-tops off is fun, 98 GTP- HUD showed 150 still had some pull but ran outa road.

*Ahem* Watch it there, lest you turn out like this guy

I've had some close calls there, double fine zone and all that slowed me down a bit.

Damn don't you have deer in your areas..........can't even do the speed limit around here without a couple of close calls a week.....doing that kind of speeds around here would almost be suicide!

Backed off at 125 right after it went into overdrive. A car came down an on ramp about a quarter mile up the highway and I wasn't about to pass it at who knows what speed. My buddy pulled that kind of stunt many years ago. The car didn't see him coming and pulled into the left lane (his lane). He cut the wheel to the left, slammed the brakes on, slid across the other two lanes, wacked the curb, which threw the car into the air. We rolled once in the air over a fire hydrant barely missing a telephone pole, rolled another time once it hit the ground and stopped about 20 ft. short of hitting a building. The only injury to the three of us in the car was when my face smacked the dash and my glasses cut my eyebrow, which needed 3 stitches. No seatbelt, where talking many moons ago here. The car, needless to say, was in worse shape than me. Iv'e gone faster than the 125, but this reply is long enough already. I will tell you though, I had a roadblock set up to stop me, and their guns were drawn when myself and my brother were told to get out of the car once we stopped. Damn, I miss being young. ps 69 vette 427/435hp ragtop.

BTW, that same burgundy Z was in the cars for sale section a few months back. If I wasn't buried in bills from my Z, I would have bought it. It was a steal at the $14,000 he was asking.
My friend in the MNFbody club owns that car, he didnt sell it so its in his garage last time I was down there. Ive seen it in person and it is sick! but its got up to 219 before...

Tell your friend for me that he has one sweet ride! I still want his car. That thing is a work of art! After I saw his article, I ended up getting his spoiler on my car.

Yeah, I dont know anyone who wouldent be envious of that, but If I remember its not supercharged anymore, but its a solid roller pushing 60x horsepower.
