What do you think this car is worth?

1994 Trans Am
Black with grey leather, 49,000 original miles...interior is near perfect
paint is maybe 7/10...cleans up well.
Mods:
AS&M ceramic coated longtubes
Magnaflow catback
MSD wires/coil
New Opti
Sony Headunit
Silver ZR1s with 275s all around
New brakes
SLP fan switch
160 Thermostat

Wondering what this might be worth?

Auto or 6spd?
T-Tops?
I'd say like 6000-7000$
He'll get more $7K if it's a 6spd with T-Tops

heh, its an Auto/hardtop car I know they are less desirable, even though there was less made.

Re: What do you think this car is worth?

If I was selling my car and someone told me my "Z" was worth more with a Manual I would laugh at them.

The A4 was $750.00 extra as an option, considering this I don’t think the M6 is worth more than an A4. Because M6 are in now in demand, on today’s Market both cars are worth the same.

Your car is only worth what others are willing to pay.

I think it depends alot on your location. A car like that for $7000 wouldnt last two days around here. I would check out sites like www.autotrader.com and see what people are asking for similar cars.

the a4, and m6 were the same cost. it really depends on what you are looking for, but i would say around 6500...

M6s are worth more because there are simply less of them. How much it cost at the dealer isn't even an issue anymore, this is 2005.

As someone who actually spent time (and gave up) looking for a good V8/M6/t-top car with LOW MILES for a decent price, I can tell you that they simply don't exist...

I know for a fact that's not not true for 94 and 95, The (A4) MXO option was an extra $750.00 in 94, and $775.00 extra in 95. (I still have my original window sticker to prove it.)

The more options your car has, the more it's worth.

I'm gonna politely, partially disagree. Once they start nearing 10 years old that difference really narrows up. It becomes more of a package deal kind of thing than a list of individual options and their value. A base trans am in a good color might be worth more than a ram air car that's a pukey color.

I say if you're in doubt, price it high. Still might sell. Good luck!

7000.00 sounds about right if the car looks good. You might start a little higher since the miles are so low.

I hear ya man! I looked forever for a nice car here with a M6 and ttops, didn't happen. everytime I found one, didn't matter if it was the day the lot put it out. BAM gone. I finally found my SS the night the lot put it out. called them the next morning and someone still almost beat me to it. The automatic Z28 for sale I found the same day? the M6 SS? gone it depends on whats hot in the area. and whats around. I payed more for the SS with an M6 than I would have with an A4 that was close milage and had Ttops, why? cause it was what I wanted and others wanted it too.
supply and demand
