Whats up guys, im here with another thread after finding out that it is going to be hard for my to get high flow cats here in l.a. Besides that issue, i am wondering what can i delete/remove from the engine bay to make more space and gain more hp (if possible) from free mods. As of now i have just deleted my heater core as it had a leak so i just deleted it. Any info wold be great!

Anything you can delete from the engine bay won't make you any power.

You can delete all the A/C components. Battery can be moved to trunk. Alternator can be relocated down to the bottom, and the accessory bracket hacked up. Who needs power steering... ditch that... manual rack available. Get a tubular K-member. There is a mod that relocates the huge wire bundle on top of the passenger side inner fender to under the fender, out of sight. AIR pump can be deleted. EGR system can be deleted. Coolant supply/return to the bottom plate on the throttle body and be deleted. Delete ABS.... big chunk of metal there.

Appears that you aren't interested in functionality... what are you going to do when the windows fog up, without a heater?

As Rob points out, not a lot of opportunity for HP gains, other than the throttle body coolant bypass (6HP). There will be benefits from weight reduction/relocation.

You could also smooth and paint the engine bay if you get frisky

I see from another post you are in CA (not sure why people chose not to out the location in their profile). "l.a." can mean different things to different people, and isn't likely to be noticed in the body of the post.

Since you are in CA, none of the emissions - EGR, AIR, EVAP - can be deleted.
