water pump?

water pump?

Hey guys when I put the water pump back,I'm using the stock wp gaskets ac delco ones from the dealer,do I need any specific silicon when I attach them to the pump. What do u guys recommend

You can install them dry or put a smear of non-hardening sealant or RTV on them. Use thread sealant on the bolts.

Thank u Rob is black silicon ok to use for the bolts? And is it ok to use the silicon on just the bottom bolts bcuz that's where I noticed the coolant came out of when I took them off

No silicone is not ok. Pieces can break off and clog your cooling system. That is why I specified thread sealant. Use on all bolts. Coolant came out of the lower bolt holes because that was where the coolant level was down to.
