Water problem

I have a 97SS that has started flooding the driver side floor every time it rains. The water comes from above the kick panel over the hood release. I assume that there is a cowl drain that is cloged up and the water is collecting in the firewall above the panel but I can't find the drain. Any ideas?

I had something similar on the pass side of my 95. I had to remove the black plastic over the cowling (have to remove wipers for drivers side) and test it with water, you will see where it should drain into the engine compartment.

Thanks

I'll try it. I gotta do something, I'm running out of dry socks.

Sure its not the T-Tops leaking down the pillar into the kick panel? My drivers side t-top leaks consistantly in the rain and drips right on my left pant pocket. If its raining hard enough it will trickle down the pillar. Maybe yours is dripping down inside the pillar?
