VATS module...

I have a '93 Camaro Z28. She won't start. I replaced the ignition cylinder and have had the key re-chipped. She still wouldn't start, so I figured it was the VATS module, so I bought one, problem is I can't find it in my car. All I found was 2 relays, one of which clicks when I "try" to start it. I'm wondering if thats wut the problem is. Plz I need help and I need my car back!

Re: VATS module...

Yes the security light is on...but there is a lil history to that. My car quit on me a while back. The whole not starting thing. At that time the security light was blinking. I didn't know wut to do and didn't have a lot of money. My father-in-law talked to a family member who is a mechanic. They fixed it to where it started, but the security light stayed on.
Now I bought the VATS module, but when I went to go install it...I couldn't find where it goes. I looked everywhere and I had many ppl tell me it was on the passanger side behind the glove box. I found relays, but no module.
Anyway, I ended up replacing one of the relays cuz it did click when I tried to start the car. Now the car is starting, but the security is still on.

Okay...since my last post, the security light has gone off. Maybe I have her fixed. I will be back if I have any more problems with her, which with her history since I have owned her...I'm sure it will be quite a bit!
I will also just pop in now and then to say hi and see how things are going!
