Undercoating

I will be driving my car in the snow for the first time. It is a 1996 and has been winterized every year by the previous owner I am looking at krown spray on undercoating but I am unsure if I should have the undercoating holes drilled or not as I understand 4th generation does not have a lot of steel. Can someone advise I have appointment oct 24 hopefully before snow hits by halloween

Re: Undercoating

Rustolium makes a good black spray undercoating, I used it on my Durango, works great....$5-7 at any home store. I dont know about the drilled holes...Good luck this winter, should be fun!

Re: Undercoating

Krown is a good product in my opinion however do you really want to be driving a 4th gen around in the snow every day? Not really. Get the Krown done, paint drilled holes with touch up paint to keep them from rusting, driving car when you have to but look for a winter beater for day to day winter driving.
