turn signal doesnt work....

my left turn signal works perfect.

when i turn the right side on the green arrow light in the dash stays on, but doesnt blink like the left side does. and the turn signal doesnt blink at all on the right side.

i replaced the right rear turn signal bulb a few days ago (it was not working) i think the guy at advance auto gave me the wrong bulb.....

could it be anything else?

i just removed my HVAC system also, this is the first time driving the car since changing the buld and removing the hvac....

everything else electrical works as supposed to....

You need to check the 'blinker' itself. It's a little $5 part, behind/below your steering wheel... around your knees. That's what regulates how fast/how often your turn signals blink. There was a thread about it not too long ago, and there was a picture posted in it.

if the blinker was bad, it wouldnt work at all right?
the left side works just fine.

i was worried that broke i something when i pulled the hvac.

if i had the wrong bulb that would be the problem right?

when my blinker was going out, it would work sometime, or blink fast or just go on steady.... no consistency until it stopped working completely. I'm no help on the bulb issue, though.

Staying on steady can be a sign that it is going bad. Blinking more rapidly can be a sign that it is going bad. Not blinking at all is a definite sign it is bad. Personally, I would change the blinker before driving myself crazy trying to figure out why this bulb works in this socket and not in that socket.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the bulb. I tested this by using the emergency flashers. The left side was fine, but the right side bulb was not flashing. The first bulb I put in turned out to be bad, so maybe that's your problem too. Second replacement bulb has been working great.

It's either turn signal bulb (front or rear) on the side that doesn't work. Put on your flashers, get out and check all the bulbs. Replace the one that does not work.
