Traction vs weight reduction

Going to the track Friday. Is it worth removing all the subs and amp for the weight reduction or leaving it for more weight in the back for traction?

Re: Traction vs weight reduction

Depends on how serious you are. 50 lbs of truck tire changes in the back where the spare goes can work wonders. It is the right rear that needs it most as the torque lifts that side of the rear.

I suppose 50 lbs of amp and subs would do the same thing.
