Mr_Bad_Ratchet

I just repaired the loose tilt steering column in the 95 Z. Now I have an intermittent security light (no starting problems) and the key in ignition chime is on even with the key out.
The security light is out more than it's on. The lock cylinder if wiggled will sometimes kill the chime. I checked the wires from the lock cylinder with key in and get key pellet ohms reading (919 ohms, high end of #4), key out is open ohms but still chimes?
I could bypass the lock cylinder with a resistor, but I'm not sure that would fix the security light issue. I could also pull the chime module which is annoying anyway.
