I sent my T56 to tickperformance.com for the stage three rebuild. When I spoke with them before shipping my tranny, they failed to mention that the 30 spline viper main shaft has been on back order for the past five months. After not hearing from them for two weeks, I decided to give them a call and they finally proceeded to tell me they can't build the stage three but could build me the stage two. I'm very disappointed in the fact that they are selling customers parts that they can not deliver. I've been trying to find a viper main shaft but nobody has any in stock since they are no longer being made. Then i started looking into texasdrivetrainperformance.com.So now I'm considering having Tick Performance send the tranny back and then send it to Texas Drivetrain. Their stage three rebuild is cheaper and they use a 31 spline ford main shaft (stronger than the viper shaft). Anybody have any thoughts or experience with Texas Drivetrain? Or should I continue to search for a used viper shaft?
