SWitch for torque converter?

So I just bought a 1995 camaro a few days ago. I started to look around check everything out and I found a switch underdash. I messed with it and nothing happened. I talked to oriellys and they said it could be a switch for torque convert? Or ignition switch? But doesn't really make sense to me.

Has any one heard of anything like that or know what it could be? They said it was common but I dnt know

Welcome to the forum!

Does your car have an aftermarket security system installed? Many times the switch or button is used to program it.

Without knowing what/where the switch is wired to, any guess is as good as another.
