Starting Issues

2002 3.8 Camaro

Hello everyone, so recently my 3.8 Camaro has left me stranded. It would not crank when the key was turned, and when I took the keys out, the dash lights stayed on and the arrows would not stop jiggling. So I plugged in the OBD reader to see if I could pull anything, and they all stopped. So my fuel pump primed, but starter did not crank. We pushed it downhill to a better location, and now, started cranks, but the fuel pump no longer primed. Next day, it ran as long as I had the OBD reader plugged in, otherwise it would crank, and the fuel pump did not prime, nor did my SES light turn on in the ACC position.

So I messed around on the grounds, and found G110 to be loose. I tightened it, and now, the issue repeated, car clicked lightly once, no start, and no sound from the starter or fuel pump, and the dash arrows refused to turn off when the key was removed. Now, it would not even start with the reader plugged in. We pushed it a bit in my driveway, and it started, but the meter for battery charge showed low, and the oil pressure gauge barely moved all night. I got stranded again, no fuel pump, no starter noises. Tugged on G110 a few times while key was in ACC position, and the fuel pump primed. It then started and I was able to drive it home.

It started this morning, but the sounded weak, the battery gauge showed weak, and again, oil pressure gauge seemed off.

So I'm getting very stumped here and do not know where to proceed, any guidance?

Apologies in advance for the long wording, I am trying to be as specific as possible.

Re: Starting Issues

If the battery is 4 years old or older might have it checked. Some places will check it free.Hope this helps.
