Lightbulb Seafoam or not? Have you used it...

What do you think for best results, in the crank, gas and vac tube or ? Any other additives work for you?

I just used B12 Carb clean and Gunk trans....both worked well, thinking of Seafoaming in the vac to clean out the chamber? The 95 needs a tune up anyway!

Re: Seafoam or not? Have you used it...

Lots of people swear by SeaFoam. I've used it. Not sure if it's done any good. After I recently purchased my Z28 I stuck some in the gas tank for good measure then after burning off that tank I changed the fuel filter (it looked old).

The intake on my car is filled with gunk, old oil or whatever. It's black. I've heard SeaFoam in the PVC valve will help clean out the inside of the engine and in the intake cleans out the gunk. I haven't tried it yet.

Is using Sea Foam Motor Treatment through the air intake less effective than adding it to the gas tank? - Sea Foam Sales Company

Seafoam comes in a metal container. It must be real powerful stuff to be put in a metal container.Since the pipe running in the back where the gas filter is is plastic, and my gas lines running to the intake are plastic,I dunno if this is a good idea.My02I picked up a case of techron cleaner at costco on sale.Comes in a plastic bottle.Hope this helps.

I have used SeaFoam in my 93 Camaro. Worked well. At least it seemed to.

I've used it before and it does real well on cleaning all that crap out. Won't make much of a difference unless your engine is just full of crud.
