Recommend me some exhaust tips

I like the dual/dual tips but not sure if I want them.

Any other "relatively" cheap tips that would look good on a stock looking Z?

I did a search and couldn't find much.

I'm using these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-C...QQcmdZViewItem

Pic on the car

They look like slp but a little bigger. I believe slp is 2.5 in and dual 2.5 out. Those are 2.5 in and dual 3 out, and the price will beat slp anyday if you like slp style tips.

These are the best looking tips of all. To me, they show that you are proud of Chevy's design for Z28 tips, but want something flashier and nicer. Only one problem... I can't remember who makes them... or I'd have them...

My favorites are the stockers too. I had mine modified a bit and I intend to have them powder coated black.

How did you have them modified? One of mine is bent and cracked at the side. I could use some modification too lol.

If you look at the tips from above they are shaped/mounted something like this stock:

| | | |
| \ | \
| \ | \

I chopped the face off one of them and flipped it over so that now it looks like :

| | | |
| \ / |
| \ / |

That gave them a bit more of a symetrical look. I painted them a gloss black and then mounted them a bit closer to eachother and moved them a bit ******d so they stick out just past the bumper. Looks nice I think. I like the black look.

Re: Recommend me some exhaust tips

Your text drawing kinda stunk, but it did remind me how they are (I forgot they were like that). Didn't flipping that one over make it look like it was too close/too far from the center? Do you have a pic of them? You can email me one if you want. speedbbb at aol dot com

Re: Recommend me some exhaust tips

The second attempt was a bit better than my attempt. Anyway, once I reshaped the one tip, I meddled with the exhaust pipes so that each tip sits outboard of the lisense plate by 6 inches or so.
