I just have a quickie ? Guys is it normal for the ac compressor to not come on if there is no freon in i just changed the line and it was hell changing it and id hate to change the compressor
,i have a thread on the other page but i never get a answer for a awhile thank u guys

Yes, it's normal. There is a pressure sensor in the system that reports to the PCM which will not allow the compressor to run if the pressure is low. Simply recharging the system won't allow it to run, you must clear the code first....

No ses light is on rite now im going to charge the system now,b4 this stupid mechaic i payed himto fix my whole ac sytem but when i did it myself i found ad bad ac hose and now i changed it wish me luck

That code doesn't set an SES light. If the compressor doesn't run even after you add refrigerant, you need to reset the computer. Just pull the PCM fuse for 30 sec or so..

Everything is good freon on is in and i checked for leaks didny see any air is cold thank u guys
