I have the Qtec. After 10 minutes of driving the cutout will not open when I push the switch. It will work only when my pipes are warm/cold.

I have the QTEC. Not problems, 2 years running and love it. My friend had a DMH and now has a QTEC. Go with the QTEC. GMMG, GM and many other speed shops use the QTEC so that does tell you something.

I had the qtp.It works fine but rattles a bit when its supposed to be closed. It also doesn't allow a proper gasket in between it and cutout.

I just orderd a dmh after hearing they close properly so will install that shortly and see if thats true.

I also have bud with mccord 2 and pretty sure it also rattled when closed.Don't see why its so hard to design one that can't rattle when closed.

then call up QTP. Something is obviously wrong. I had one, and never had that problem.

Have the DMH for over 4 years and works as good now as it did the day I installed it. No leaks , no rattles. I have seen all 3 and there is no comparison to the fit and finish of the DMH. Top notch product and customer service. I have only heard of 1 unhappy customer on this board but it wasnt because of Dave's efforts to satisfy the customer. Can the same be said for the others? Do a search and you will see what I mean. DMh rocks
