Re: production numbers

The "production number" is the last 5 digits of the VIN. Or are you trying to find out how many A4/V6's were built in 1995?

All Camaros for 1995 are numbered in a sequence, starting with "2100001" through "2222971". There were 122,738 Camaros built in 1995.... not sure where the other 233 VIN went from that sequence.

ALL Camaros used this sequential VIN build number, even the SS's (well, at least in 1996 when they started making the SS's). An SS only got an "SS build number" when it was taken to the SLP plant to be converted to an SS. SLP assigned a new number like SS #105.

But your V6, and all the Z28's all have only the VIN as a sequence number.

V6 Coupes - 77,431
V6 Convertibles - 6,948
Z28 Coupes - 30,335
Z28 Convertibles - 8,024
