pilot bushing - go in damnit!!

Angry pilot bushing - go in damnit!!

Im currently finishing up my t56 swap. Last night i tryed getting the pilot bushing in with a socket and rubber mallet, but the fawker wont go in. Tips? is it safe to use a heavier hammer?

A rubber mallet will just bounce and not transfer much energy; use a dead blow hammer or a metal hammer. You'll hear a change in the "tone" when the bushing is fully seated.

grease it up good and tap it with a socket and a hammer

took me about 30 min to get mine in

be gentle but firm...lol
