PCM fuse blew (internal #5)

Weird situation - 97 Camaro 203,000 miles

I started the car this evening it ran for about 5-10 seconds then the PCM fuse blew and the engine died and wouldn't start again.

Of course I didn't figure that out at first, went to dinner with some friends then came back and diagnosed. Swapped out the 15 amp fuse with the Pwr Accesry one. Car started up fine and I was able to drive it home 20 miles away on the highway with no issue (minus the stereo and odometer, but hey...)

What would cause that to blow? Searching here I learned that the fuel pump is on that same fuse. I had the fuel pump replaced last year but wasn't having problems before or after this incident (although the fuel gauge has shifted over the past few months so that 1/4 is now nearly empty and full is 1/4 past the full mark but I don't think that would cause a blown fuse...)
