Oil pressure gauge location

Oil pressure gauge install
I'm thinking of adding a mechanical oil pressure gauge to my '95Z Vert. Looking for mounting ideas.
I don't really want to just screw a frame for it below the dash. Has any one used one of those snap-on pods for the pillar? If so which one did you get? I looked at the one AutoZone sells and I don't think it would snap on my pillar.
What about an A/C vent?
Would love to see a picture of your setup.

Re: Oil pressure gauge location
I put a dual pillar pod on my Firebird, with 2 gauges. There used to be outfits making them specifically for the 4th Gen F-bodies, both pin on and complete upper pillars. Not sure if they are still available though.
I attached the pod with epoxy, and used bondo to smooth the edges into the pillar, painted it with a very close match SEM vinyl paint.
Or trade the Camaro for a Firebird.... no shortage of places to locate gauges....

Re: Oil pressure gauge location - Completed
Got my mechanical oil pressure gauge mounted and working. It provides great relief as it shows that my stock cluster gauge is reading low even after replacing the sensor. This picture was taken while idling after a good drive to warm everything up. The mechanical gauge is reading right at 22 lbs while the cluster gauge is less than 10 lbs.
I'm very relieved to see that my pressure is actually doing well.
