Oh Well

Re: Oh Well
Alright well, I was turning left. The light turns green, there is one car in front of me, it goes, so I go out into the intersection some. I didn't have a chance to go so I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally the light turns yellow, there is a white car turing right(comming tawords me, going down the steet I'm turning left into). So I wait for the car to almost get done, look to see if anyone else is comming (there was no one comming, in either of the two lanes) so then I start to turn left (light is about to turn red by now). Next thing I know, boom, a truck hits me. I had my friend with me. My friend said that the truck was behind the white car, and at the last second he jerks over to the other lane, guns it and wham. The truck was going extreamly fast at this time, 60 or so MPH. The truck spun it was going so fast, hit a lightpull, and then went out on the street.
Next thing I know people are running to the car, I can't get my door open. Someone opens it up for me. I see the people get out of the truck. There was like 4 people, a guy was driving. I see a girl hit the guy driving and say "what the f**k were you doing, why were you going so fast", etc. It's probably going to end up being my fault since I was turning left. Though I have 5 whitness testified saying almost exactly what my friend said. They wrote everything down for the cops, etc. So I may get lucky and it not be my fault. Either way I have no vehicle now, and I got a ticket for failed to yield. I have full coverage, and tomorrow I have to strip the car of the expensive system and exaust I have.
Another thing was we had just got pizza, breadsitcks and lots of sauce. So when we got out of the car we had red pizza sauce all over us. Everyone thought we were bleeding badly. When the firetruck got there a fireman ran up to us and said "holy s**t are you guys ok!?", we are like yeah man it's just pizza sauce. That was kind of funny.

Re: Oh Well
Good thing is that you're all okay and walked away. One thing the pictures remind me is that I'm glad to drive in a car made of real STEEL. If you were in one of those quick and light imports, the story would have been different. As much as we knock GM for their cars, their design saved you some harm. Looks like crumple zones worked as expected...not even the windshield was cracked.
Bad gas mileage, bad gas mileage...boo hoo...there's something to be said about driving a solid car.

Re: Oh Well
Dam that sucks I know how you feel.
I lost my 85 Camaro to a rich B**** that jumped a turn light.
They they said it was my fault.
I went trough the intersection going east and she was on the south side
turning west.
I go through that intersection every day and have timed that light.
If you ran the light when it was red you could still get to the other side before the turn lane on the south side turns green.
I had 2 jerks that said the light was red.
You know it takes what like a sec. or two for it to turn red.
I'm glad nobody got hurt.
I hate to see another Camaro die.
It's very very said.
