No turn signals, but flashers work?

OK so my turn signals stopped working after they were fussy for awhile. But my hazards work. I checked the fuse and it isn't blown. DO the hazards and turn signals have the same bulb? WHat else could it be, if they do?

Car is the LS1 in the sig.

are they dual element bulbs? if so one being out can make all stop working on the particular side.

if i remember correctly, there are two bulbs in there. 1 is for the turn signal and the other is the flashers AND daytime running lights.

There are two separate flashers. One for the turn signals and one for the hazards. The turn signal one is next to your right knee when sitting in the driver's seat (under the dash, front of console). I think you have a flasher that is bad.

I don't know for a fact on LS1's but on some other cars if you have a brake light out it would affect your turn signals.

Not an engine question.

But what are the odds that BOTH bulbs would blow at the same time?

I would put money on the flasher being bad also, especially since u said they were being fussy before. I had the same problem, sometimes they work sometimes they get stuck on, sometimes nothing.
