Ok im sure this question is on here and has been asked before...I just bought a 97 ss slp Camaro 6-speed. I am looking to beating up on some mustangs around where i live and looking for the best bank for my buck...The car is all stock at the moment...Anyone Help? thanks....

The only true limit is your how thick your wallet is. There are plenty of 'free mods' you can do that will help regain some lost power due to stock restrictions.
What is your budget look like? And what mustangs are we talking? Old 5.0's, New 5.0's, 4.6 GT's, Cobra's, etc...

You need to post on the "LT1 Based Engine Tech" for help with the engine. A buddy's heavy 97 SS convertible made 1,125HP with a Vortech blown 383ci LT1 and ran 9.04 @ 156MPH. As noted above, it all depends on your budget.
As you build the HP, you will need to upgrade the suspension (post on "Suspension, Chassis and Brakes" forum) and beef up the drivetrain (post on "Drivetrain" forum).

Well the money isnt a problem i make enough og that at work...but i would like to keep it low just because i dont have much in this car....and as far as mustang most around here are mild built cars but there is a few fast ones...Like a 03 procharged bullit car...but it dont impress me that much...ive owned on camaro before and every body style mustang there is more than once....i just like the camaros better lol
