New opti, new fuel pump etc, still no crank?

replaced bunch of parts on my 95 z28 6 speed 163k miles
-water pump
-fuel pump
-optispark
-spark plugs
-timing chain
-etc cant remember

it was seized but i put engine degreaser into the spark plug holes and i was able to turn the crank shaft just fine afterwards

before it seized it was running bad, power loss, it would just stall going into first sometimes, smoke out of exhaust on cold start and eventually it would just crank for a long time then wouldn't crank at all

still doesn't even crank just clicks..last time i checked starter was about 1-2 months ago but i dont think its the starter cause it was fine but really old last time i checked

any help much appreciated!!

Has the battery been checked and charged? Are the battery/cable terminals and the cables themselves free of corrosion on both ends?

No, the SES light does NOT need to be on. Unfortunately most auto parts stores only do OBD-2 and get totally confused when they see a 95 with a 16-pin OBD-2 connector, and an OBD1 PCM.

yeah that too, forgot about that. Any idea whats up with my car? I'm thinking maybe i left something disconnected or something I have no idea what's with it. Fuel is going in so definitely not the pump. anything to cause it not to crank? It's weird though cause the night it stopped on me i was at autozone (ironic right) but it cranked then too. the next morning i had to get a tow truck and the guy told me to leave the keys in the ignition, so i did that, then the next thing i know when i get home it doesn't crank at all.

It's your battery, your starter, or the wiring in between. The facts that it clicks and that you can turn the crank by hand mean it can't be anything else.
