Arrow NEW Forum - PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

Welcome to the General F-Body Tech forum. Since this community is getting much larger as time goes on, there is sometimes a need for expansion. The Engine tech forums are by far the busiest here, and often the posts are not engine specific but more general to F-bodies.
For example, posts about leaking t-tops or problems like that common to more than one year/generation are now to go in this forum rather than the forum for the engine the car has.

NOTE: This forum is in beta meaning that it could be changed or deleted at any time if people do not utilize it for what it was intended. This does not also mean we will be breaking this forum into yet more forums nor is it an invitation to start asking for more forums. There is always someone who wants to complain about how a different forum should have been created instead. You do not want to be that person.

Posts in this forum MUST be f-body related. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. This is not a tech forum for just ANY car. If you have a non-f-body tech question, it does not belong here on this site. If you need tech support for a vehicle other than an f-body, go to Google and find a forum to get better help for a non-fobdy vehicle than here. The Internet is huge and there is a tech forum out there for every kind of car, you just have to look for it.

NON-F-BODY POSTS WILL NOT BE MOVED TO ANOTHER FORUM, THEY WILL BE DELETED.

Please make sure you are posting your question on the right forum.
For example, engine-related posts should still go in their specific forums here
Suspension, Chassis and Brakes questions should go in the new Suspension, Chassis and Brakes forum.
Volumetric efficiency posts should go in the Advanced Tech Forum, etc.

So, now that we got the hard part out of the way, let's see how this works out.

Enjoy!

Sounds like a good idea.

Would this be the forum to also ask questions like "how would my f body do versus another car" I have seen a ton of those threads, and most of the time they get moved to the lounge. J/W

Yes, this forum is for things that contain general f-body discussion.

However, there is a difference between "How will my modded Trans Am do against a C5?" and "How many Camaro owners does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"

Note the difference. The last one will probably get moved to the Lounge.

So, how do you think my modded Z28 would do against a C5?

................I know, "moving to the Lounge" .

Hopefully this new Forum will be useful and keep some of the less "tech" stuff out of Tech. It's nice to see this site expanding as it is. I like it.

You already are, no need for $.

However, if you have money burning a hole
in your pocket, buy from our Supporting Vendors and tell them that you appreicate their support.

Or buy an avatar:

Or buy some CamaroZ28.Com schwag:

Thanks for the support, everyone. Things might be a little weird for a while until everyone gets used to the new forums but the community will be better as a whole as a result.

like the idea some of the other forums can get cluttered...

On a side note where do I post my questions about problems I might be having with my daily driver...I would hate to have to join a Ford Taurus web site just to find out general maintenance question answers...I would much rather ask the advice of the people on this baord as I know they are very knowledgable not only for just f-bodys...

Can't help you there. We would rather have you post that on a Ford Taurus site. Otherwise, we'd get that clutter that you mentioned that we are trying to eliminate.

Sorry!
