Need some advice!

Need some advice!
I have a 96 formula firebird, 6 speed, LT1 bored .030 over, CAI. I'm looking to give my car a little more horsepower, just want to see what I can make her into, any recommendations on what mods I should start with? I'd like to get my engine to the point where I can install a supercharger, just think I could use a little help on where to start! Thanks! Any help is appreciated!

What is your goal in terms of HP, and a budget for the goal?
You engine can easily make 500HP at the flywheel with cold air intake, 52mm throttle body, well-ported LT1 heads and intake, a matching cam, 36 #/HR injectors, long tube headers and true duals or a good catback. Then a good PCM tune.

Advanced Induction - LTx Performance Parts
Then you'll need drivetrain and suspension upgrades - better clutch, upgraded driveshaft, and with your 6-speed manual, you're on the ragged edge with the stock 7.5/7.625" 10-bolt rear. Street driving will be likely be OK, but hard launches on sticky tires will grenade it. In any case, 4.10 gears will wake things up, and then some sticky tires.
Suspension upgrades would include upgraded rear lower control arms, LCA relocation brackets, upgraded panhard rod, adjustable torque arm, and subframe connectors. Which components you select will depend on whether you want to focus on drag racing or exceptional handling in the twisties.
Building an engine for an S/C gets expensive, and will not produce optimal power until you actually install the S/C. But that's where you need to go for 600 HP or more. Then there's always nitrous....

Kit for what? Rotating assembly? Cam? Supercharger? Turbo? Nitrous?
I've seen a 383ci blown LT1 make 1,125 HP and run 9-flat at almost 160 MPH. Engine, drivetrain, suspension, chassis mods probably $40,000. There's at least one LT1 that has run low 8's.
You need to set a budget.
