LT1>LS1 in anyway?

Hey guys

I was wondering this for a long time. Every time I read someone building an LT1 some always says "you should have gonne with LS1, because it cheaper to build and responds better to mods, or how superior LS1 motors are to LT1, ect". Some guys really like to put down LT1s.

I was just wondering is there anything where LT1 is better then LS1. I think I remember reading some where that LT1 block can handle more power then LS1, can we agree that LT1 sound better? Also I am not sure about LS1 (if it has it) but I heard LT1s reverse flow cooling has few benefits to it, is there anything else or is the LS1 better in everyway.

Re: LT1>LS1 in anyway?

I have an LT4,2-ls1's,ls2,5.3... I think mod for mod the ls series motors make more hp. stock the lt1 made more torque .. and yes imo sounds better even more with no mufflers like my lt4 !
