Low Coolant Light Question

Hey, I recently had my low coolant sensor replaced on my 1995 camaro z28 after it crapped out and caused the low coolant light to turn on. After it was replaced I have not seen the low coolant light come on again. However, I thought I remembered that the low coolant light would flash when the car was first turned on and I don't see the light turn on when I start the car. Am I correct that it is supposed to turn on during start up or has my memory failed me?

Thanks

Re: Low Coolant Light Question

Make sure they plugged the harness connector into the new level sensor. If it isn't plugged in, the light isn't going to come on. According to the 1995 Camaro Owner's Manual, page 2-73, the red low coolant light should come on while you are starting the engine.
