Light

My light on the door panel of my 97Z is burned out or not working. I assume you have to take the whole door panel off to fix. Anyone know what the part number is or bulb type to fix it.Thanks

Re: Light

I can't remember the bulb number, but you just remove the 2 screws in the bezel, remove the cover from the lock rod, and take out the bezel. It's right there in the top of it.

Re: Light

You twist the bulb socket and the assembly comes out of the door handle bezel. Removing the bulb from the holder is a giant PITA. When I changed mine, I just wrapped a tissue around it and crushed the bulb. Then you can grab the filament part with some small pliers and yank it out. Getting them out without breaking the bulbs requires some god-like patience, which is unnecessary since they bulb isn't working anyway.
