K&N, or Moroso

K&N, or Moroso
I have a 93 3.4L Camaro that I acquired a K&N FIPK for. I also recently bought a 97 Z-28 that had a Moroso cold air intake on it when I bought it. My question here is, which one would provide more HP on the Z-28, the K&N...or the Moroso. I know the difference is so small that it doesn't really matter...but it's just a gee whiz question really.

Re: K&N, or Moroso
since when has the morosso been crap??
both units are going to be equal gains +/- 1 hp or so...every car will react different within a certain standard of error.

Re: K&N, or Moroso
I took my K&N off and put on a moroso....The air filter like to fall off the K&N kits over time, they fall of because there is no lip for the air filter to grab to, the moroso set up is the plastic tube to a metal plate, the metel plate has a lip on it which does make it a pain in the rump to put the filter on but once its on its not falling off. I'd father have a product that i know will be filtering my air, rather than every oil change find out i've been sucking in dirt

Re: K&N, or Moroso
I can vouch for the K&N filter problem, my buddies 94 Z28 camaro had a K&N that kept dropping the filter no matter his efforts, and eventually the filter somehow disappeared, we first thought maybe the LT1 was a bit hungry but then kinda decided it would be a more concievable idea to say the filter fell off and found its way out of the bumper onto the road one day. He then replaced it with a moroso, which is what I also run and am happy with

Re: K&N, or Moroso
Thanks guys, I never expected so many replies to the question. I have had my K&N on the v-6 camaro for over a year now and haven't had the filter come off on me...so I haven't had the same experiences as you guys have.
