Just cleaned MAF.

Just cleaned MAF.

Man was it dirty I had to use 5 Q-tips to get it clean now looks and runs very smooth ran good before I cleaned it hope it runs even better cleaned.

No thanks. I just found out by reading a thread about it I didnt know they even needed to be cleaned always just left it alone.

I guess I should take a look at mine this summer......

Do you think it's safe to use some turpentine and a copper brush on it?

A grinder will work good. Tuff room tonight

Just throw it in the dish washer. That's how I did mine, it's all bright and shiney now. Although the car runs really rough now?

last time I used a Q-tip, it ended up getting stuck in my nose! I'm not allowed to play with them anymore.

My finger mostly.......occasionally someone else's........sometimes I use a Q-tip also - but you don't want to dig too hard, the grey matter isn't very far up.

What kinda soap did you use and did it leave water spots???

I used the gell packs, but i used cold rinse since I had my C.A.I in there and didn't want it to melt. The washing mach. works wonders for the K&N filter.
