installing my loudmouth

UPS tracking says my LM is going to be here tomorrow.. yay.. anyhow I need to find a way to install it. I'm not very automotively inclined, and although alot of people have said its pretty simple, I don't want to mess around with it unless I'm with someone who knows what their doing.
Soo.. in case my friend from Jersey can't come up to help me, can I get a place like meineke to install it for me? And should I bolt it on or have them weld it?

Thanks

Do it yourself. It's about the easiest thing you can do on these cars. All you have to do is unbolt the stock exhaust, probably cut it so you can take it out from above the rear end and then bolt it up. You'll need some jackstands though. I thought it was fun when I did mine.

There shouldn't be any welding required for the "loudmouth".

Ace is correct that you'll have to cut the intermediate pipe at the muffler to get it over the axle. If you don't cut, you'll have to remove some other parts to clear it.

Here's a link to the install instructions, which you'll get with the kit anyways:

It could be done with jackstands, but it's a lot easier with a lift. I have a buddy that has a shop, so I took my Corsa catback to him and chewed the fat with him during the install.

Yes, Meineke can do it, but will they? Out here in California, a lot of the "brand name" muffler shops won't even touch anything that wasn't OEM. So, if you do decide to go to a shop..shouldn't take more than an hour so challenge their quote for the "whole day" install.
