Question Ignition switch

I am replacing it to try and locate a power issue. The question is, My car is now a manual, I removed the shift lock two years ago when I changed trannys and reused the auto ignition switch. Is that the only differnce between the auto and manual swich? (can I replace mine with a manual one or is there a wiring change?) I would assume I can but wanted to check. I tried looking but its a special order everywhere and there was no stick cars in the U-pull it lot.

I don't believe there is any difference in the electrical connectors. There is no separate listing for manual or auto.
