Just a little update that may help others, as I can see how this could be a common problem. I resolved my issue with the pulley not pressing on properly.

I ended up having to re-tap the hole in the center. Anytime I tried to get the center bolt to 'bite' so I could use the tool to press on the pulley. Every time I started to crank down on the 'press', the center bolt broke loose. Very frustrating, especially when I don't have a tap set at home. Thankfully, some family did. Once I tapped the hole back out and got some fresh, good threads for the bolt to screw into, it works flawless.

Just going to put everything back together tomorrow. But, not sure if everyones PS pumps were like this one.. but there was next to no threads to get the bolt to "bite" down in to to begin with. Without re-tapping the hole, it would of been next to impossible to get it on using the tool
