Headlight shake on TA resolution?

Headlight shake on TA resolution?
One of my headlights on my TA shakes on any little bumps when in the up position, this is the single headlight on the 93-97 TAs. Is there a way to make them stable again, seems like my PS light is very stable compared to the DS.

ok, since you got no responses, ill add my guess. i assume theres a stop that the headlight rests against when its up. if im correct, and said stop is missing or damaged, your headlight would become loose.

Re: Headlight shake on TA resolution?
Hello, not immediately seeing what year TA you have, the same thing was going with my 95. With mine there is small cable under each light enclosure that when up stops the travel. They both became loose, only held on with rivets on each end. I drilled out the rivets and installed small machine screws and nuts and washers where needed till the vibs were eliminated. It is kinda a pain to drill in the tight area but got it done and works like a champ. There's probably another form of a stop near the motor linkage to check and make sure the rest of the linkage is tight and sound. Good luck.

It's the '95. I haven't looked at it in the light since its always dark when I get home now, I only recall an arm and pivot holding it up from when I changed the motor out. I'll have to check it out this weekend in full light. Only one side is bouncy so its got to be something like you describe that can be tightened up. There are no bump stops that hold it that I recall.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Headlight shake on TA resolution?
It was bugging me to much tonight so I popped the hood to take a quick look and given the advice above, it was in fact the cable..its tight on the PS and loose on the bouncing DS. The cable looks to hold the light from bouncing up when in the full raised position. The lift arm keeps it from going down. I'll tighten the cable using screws as recommended, thanks!
