I have a 97 T/A. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now. From the first day I got it, you have to hold down the unlock button on the keyless remote button. Is this normal or should it unlock just with an easy push of the button? Also you have to get a good angle on the dash in order for it to unlock. Will a new romte make any difference? Thanks for the help.

Take it apart, clean up the contacts, and if it works better, you need a new remote. Cleaning the contacts up will only make it work better for about a week or so, if that's the problem.
