GM lack of product support

Vehicle: 97 camaro z28
I have been having a clutch issue for a few weeks. I finally found the source of my problem. It was the clutch line got crushed during header install. Ive been searching for a replacement line for about a week now and i can't find it. Ive called the dealership and the only way to get the line is to spend 300 dollars on a new master, slave kit. They won't sell it individually. Checked all the local auto parts places and spent a hour or 2 on google looking for it. Only thing i can come up with are some adapters used on conversion cars with lt1/t56 swap. Which would be great if they sold a 90degree adapter too otherwise the line will be ridiculously long.

Leave it to me to break something on my car i can't replace.

I use rockauto.com #12559912 is the part I think you are looking for. I think it was $150 if that helps.

looks like gmpartsdirect.com has them for $122.77

put in year, make, model. click on clutch, Hydraulic system, Master cylinder.

I can't find a part # for just a line. the 93-02 parts manual lists it as one piece

I don't know how you can complain about lack of support. GM has the part. It has been sold as a unit since the beginning and it's [only] $122. Better than discontinued (which a lot of stuff already is).

Only place that i found it has it was the GM Dealer for around 300 bucks with everything..

I can find ls1 lines and adapters for the conversion cars. Shouldn't be such a pain for such a easy part to manufacter.

No, it's the whole thing. It's sold as a unit as already stated.
