Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 97 Z28 M6 car which I've owned since about 2002. Bought it as a car to drive when in the USA as I lived overseas so got driven about a week at a time 3-5 times a year. Let a son drive it when I moved back here and it ended up with a Clutch going out, I then stored it for several years.
Working on getting it back on the road over the last months and have done . . .
Clutch with a McLeod friction disc mated to a new stock clutch assembly
T56 rebuilt by TICK with new bearings a Viper 2nd etc.
Drive shaft upgrade with 3" HD version from Fort Wayne Clutch & Driveshaft.
Replaced all Fluids, Radiator Hoses, Serpentine Belt.

Need to address a couple of interior issues, a headliner.. Recover or Replace?
Front Seat covers and foam. Replace the front covers and I'd like to add a little cushion to seat. What are good options here and are any of the later 98-02 seats any upgrades while using the same structure?

T-top or coupe?

This outfit sells and ABS replacement for the T-top, $162 + shipping (oversize), upholstered. I have no experience with this product, but have seen pics on another site where it looked pretty decent. Maybe they have one for the coupe as well.... I didn't look.

I think there are sellers on ebay as well.

I am facing a similar problem, with the fabric coming loose right above the rear view mirror. It's complicated by the fact that I have a welded-in roll bar that is a fraction of an inch from the headliner.

The upholsterers at work use a spray adhesive after they stretch the fabric into place.(furniture industry).I used 2 sided 3-m tape on mine and it works ok for now.(Headliner).I wood take the seats to a auto upholsterer and have them spray the headliner if it is not too far gone and get 2-3 bids on the seats with softer cushioning Hope this helps.

I recovered my headliner and its easy to do. The main thing is to make sure you remove as much of the foam backing as you can. Use fabric made for headliners with the thin foam backing and a good contact cement.
