fusable link issue? kinda stumped

Ok. Heres the story.

I have a 1993 z28 6 speed,

So i traded a dual flipout single din. For a double din and as i was checking the
new double din out in the car where it would normally hook up. The power and ground touched arched then lost power.

Ive checked the power wires. And i have switched power. Just not constant hot.

So i know theres this red fusable link box under the hood for constant power...

So im guessing i blew up one of those fuses. But which one?

Cause now my maplights dont work. None of my interior lights work when i open the door. And when i turn my key on to start the car it doesnt do its normal pinging sound..

Any idea what fusable link it is that blew?

Check fuse 8 in the end of dash panel. 93 Owner's manual indicates that suppies "audio alarm, Bose relay, courtesy lights, console compartment, glovebox, dome, rear view mirror and radio". Sure sounds like everything you indicate is not working.

Check the fuse again. Measure the resistance. Then verify 12V power to the hot side of the fuse.

Looking at the wiring diagrams for my 94 (and recognizing your 93 may be different), the fusible link that supplies unswitched power supplies a lot of other circuits in addition to the ones you are having problems with. Other items on the 94 fusible link are the tail lights, hazards, PCM BAT, defog, seats and headlights.
