Fuel supply line replacement.

Fuel supply line replacement.
What's the best way to replace the fuel supply line, the plastic one that goes from the tank to the filter.
I broke the line some years ago but used a hose and some clamps to connect it, how it lasted this long is beyond me. It was a quick fix I never got around to replacing.
I already have a new line. I have done the trap door when replaced the fuel pump so getting to the disconnect shouldn't be that hard. Is the line connected to the tank anywhere? Would loosening the straps help in anyway?

If I recall, the fuel feed, return and vapor lines are an assembly from the fuel pump/sending unit. I believe it will require you to drop down or possibly remove the tank to get access. PITA.
I have a 96, and back in 99, I was rear ended. No frame damage and bumper was replaced. What I didn't know was that the impact pinched all the fuel pump lines since they fold over the lip of the gas tank and the tank shifted back a little on its straps. I had wondered why the car wouldn't exceed 110mph (fuel starvation) when new I had it up 140mph. Finally the pump gave out. When I replaced the pump, I saw the fuel line assembly pinched.

The factory manual has a very fuzzy sketch of the fuel tank, fuel and EVAP lines. It does not show any retainers for the nylon lines on the tank or body structure near the tank. It shows a strap that encases the metal lines, and that appears to be under the floor boards, closer to the filter.
The diagram shows that the fuel supply line from the tank to the filter is two pieces, nylon to a quick connect right near the white plastic tank vent valve. then metal to the filter. Shoebox's photo shows the quick connects at that location:

Looks like it would be a tight squeeze between the tank and the body, as confirmed in the response above.
